I've been listed on Web Fiction Guide for a few months, but I still haven't gotten any reviews (looks like I went up in a batch of works that for some reason didn't get any, which is okay).

I apologize, because I'm eight and a half chapters in now, so it's starting to be a monster work. Folks have given me blurb feedback, but I still haven't gotten any actual reviews. One or two would definitely be appreciated!

Thanks in advance, guys, both for any potential reviews in the future, but also for all the advice I've gotten from the community since I went live back in April.

Hey everybody! Looking for reviews for my... new-ish web serial, Angry Remembrance:

http://www.angryremembrance.com

Brian grew up believing his father walked out on his family. Little did he know that he was a casualty to a war between powerful shapeshifters--a war that Brian is about to be drafted into himself.

Much appreciated. :-) Feel free to plug your own web serial on here for me to read and review. I don't like horror, dystopia, or post-apocalyptic stuff, but other than that I'm pretty open-minded. My favored genre is fantasy, but I've been known to read many other things too!

Just a fair warning I'm pretty darn slow. I'm still working through "Castle Terribel" (great stuff!) and I'd like to get caught up with that before reviewing anyone else. But you will go in my bookmarks and be reviewed eventually, I promise! X)

Hello there!

Now that my first attempt at writing has actually been listed somewhere, I was hoping to get some feedback/suggestions on the site's layout. I'm still tweaking it and open to making changes. Unfortunately I'm using Blogger's free service right now so my options are a little limited. Thus I went for straight functionality with the hope that content would matter more.

http://webfictionguide.com/listings/dead-too-rights/

Oh! And feedback on the story itself is very welcomed, including what I've done wrong and what parts are most enjoyable. Its my first go at this writing thing but it won't be my last!

Thanks so very much,

Hello all.

I'm re-requesting reviews of 'Cold Ghost', as we're now much deeper into the story (14 chapters and 1 side story so far) and I've also been doing some tweeking around the site. I wasn't sure if should create a new thread for this, especialy since I think I changed links since my first review, but I'll close down this thread and re-open the old one if need be.

I've been debating whether or not to add on a 'Recommended Viewing/Reading' as well, but I don't know what people would think of this. (Not related to linking to other web serials) I'm mainly looking for web novel feedback, but comments on the site are fine as well. Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to your feedback.

Link to main site is here: http://evashandor.wordpress.com

Stephen C Rose on "Review Request -- The Complete History of Adam Panflick"

Panflick is an online novel in the manner of Tom Jones. It deals with the limits of marriage, limits of family, limits of religion and limits of life. Its hero is Adam Panflick (1936 -). Irony, iconoclasm, a Terry Southern edge and a Kubrick sensibility suggest its general drift.

killthewabbit on "Review Request: KilltheWabbit"

I'd like to invite reviews of KilltheWabbit (http://kill-the-wabbit.com). The main character, killthewabbit, is a bodysnatcher — someone who gives rides to casual commuters — in the Bay area. He is also a predator.

Although I am a published author, this is my first experiment with internet fiction. It's also proving to be quite a learning experience in terms of polishing the work as it evolves, since I'm writing it real time.

I'd hoped this experience to be an exercise in agility - living in the characters so I could interact with readers. So in addition to welcoming reviews, I encourage readers to engage and become a part of the story.

And clue me in to your work - I'm new to this world and am eager to learn.

Hello, I'm Zoe, and this is my first post in the forums. I'm a dark fantasy writer who has been publishing serialized novellas and novels online for close to three years now. I've only recently come to WFG thanks to a referral from another writer and member, Jan Oda, who encouraged me to post a submission for Zombie Punter, a dark fantasy novella with a gay romance as a subplot.

I've completed that novella and have submitted my next serial novel to WFG, another dark fantasy called Blind Rage. This is a story about the formation of a werekin pack, and it represents a point of origin for the druid werekin curse in my fictional world. Part of the Mystical World Wars, the story in Blind Rage is hectic. It takes place on a modern Earth not too unlike our own, yet the cast already includes a berserker, a black elf and a bard. The werekin shown so far are: werebear-orc, werebear, weredog, werefox, and werepanther.

I've already posted the first nine chapters, and this series will run until the end of July, at which point I will take a much needed vacation. I would appreciate if you could check out the story in progress and offer ratings or reviews.

If you prefer to wait and review complete stories, then perhaps you could look at Zombie Punter. I'm really quite proud of this dark fantasy, which was written as a tribute to Brian Keene's Dead Sea. The novella is being praised by a number of writers and editors, and it's been called brilliant, mesmerizing, intriguing, and original. For a book featuring two explicit gay sex scenes, it's still able to win points with straight guys. One author joked that he had to shift in his seat a few times during the first sex scene due to "tight pants." ^_^

So, those are my stories. I hope you will check them out and leave feedback, and I thank you in advance for checking out my work. Thanks for reading this too, and it's nice to meet you all.

Leem on "Review Request - Ketrin"

My ongoing webnovel Ketrin has been listed ( http://webfictionguide.com/listings/ketrin/ ) for a couple of months now, and to date has attracted about as much attention as a fart in a hurricane. I realise it's very long and it would be a bit much to ask anyone to read the whole thing in one go. Nevertheless, I would welcome (though not without some trepidation) any constructive criticism.

To date the story has only garnered two "proper" reviews. Chris Poirier's mini-review on this site isn't exactly enthusiastic, but does find an "almost mythic quality" to the narrative; a previous review by Morgan O'Friel on Pages Unbound praised the plot and prose but found the story "out-right preachy".

So, while not the glowing praise I'd hoped for, those reviews do at least raise some useful points, although I'm slightly nonplussed by Poirier's claim that "it just doesn’t hold together".

Still, maybe not too shabby for a story that was originally conceived as a soft porn novella and then snowballed over the course of a ridiculous amount of time into a (still-unfinished) novel-length adventure story with literary pretensions.

As for the site design, I know it's a bit basic right now and I'm hoping to spruce it up a bit in future. I have made one alteration from the screenshot, which is to put all the navigation into a box at the top left of each page. It would be nice to give the site some more visual content; ideally I'd like to find a talented (and preferably cheap!) artist to provide illustrations, but where to find one?

And then of course there's the whole thorny question of promotion. Given the story's erotic content, where would be the best place to advertise it?

Lethe Bashar's Novel of Life is always looking for new readers and reviewers. In terms of providing my readers with a non-linear, multimedia reading experience, I feel as though my work is unique. I have three separate blogs that follow the life of my main character. These sites pick up at different points of the character's life and in different locations of the world; one covers Lethe's upbringing in a Chicago suburb, another leaps to his study abroad in Spain; a third picks up in Las Vegas where Lethe has recently run away from a halfway house. Through hyperlinks, I encourage readers to proceed in any direction.
