A question on submitting stories

10 months ago | ForestRage (Member)

Hey writers,
How can I know if my submission story has been accepted by webfictionguide? I have been concentrating on progressing my serial and have been away for some time. If my story has been rejected for some reason, how do I know what to do to correct it? Any one familiar with this process can hit me a reply. Thank you in advance.

Check your submission's position in the queue here: http://submissions.webfictionguide.com/

They process entries in blocks of ten about once a week.

Thanks for the reply. I did what you said but my story is not on the list. I submitted my work around March and the queue is now dealing with stories submitted in July. I haven't seen any emails for feedback, maybe I deleted it by mistake. My work is a serial called The Red Lands. Is there any way for me to find out what happened, I would be grateful for some feedback.
    Thanks again.

I've never submitted anything, so I'm not 100% sure, but I *think* you should be able to check the status of anything you've submitted from the submissions page if you're logged in on the main site.

That should have comments on why if it was turned down. If not, maybe an editor/moderator can help better.

You can always resubmit your story if you think there was an error of some kind or if you didn't receive an email. :)
