Bulletins will replace What's Happening

10 years ago | Chris Poirier (Moderator)

Hi all,

I'll be doing an update to the site layout in the next few days. As part of that, the What's Happening columns will be going away. Instead, we will be accepting bulletins from listed novels that have at least on 3 star or better rating from an editor. Each accepted bulletin will go directly to the home page (no waiting for Mondays) and will stay until it is pushed off the bottom by new content.

Anybody who submitted a What's Happening article for tonight's update will be getting a Bulletin instead, hopefully tomorrow. Please send bulletins to (submissions at webfictionguide dot com) and include a short title, the name of your listing, and the usual 50-ish words of content.

Very nice, Silly Rabbit. Certainly more reader-friendly.

Nice, it's much cleaner and easier to read.

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback. I'm still not sure about the new listings pages, but I'm pretty happy with the home page redesign. I'll be watching the stats to see how everything works out.

I'm not too keen on the new listings pages, it seems like the new design takes way too much space to do a fairly simple thing. But the home page is pretty nice now, thumbs up on that.
