That's true, Billy, but let's take Superman.

At one point there were four superman titles (maybe still are? Can't remember.)

Superman, Man of Steel, Action Comics, and... uh... the other one? And they were all staggered so they came out a week at a time, which approximates the weekly releases. That said... they were all full-length issues. So if I were going do to that I'd be writing 8-10K a week, and there are SOME PEOPLE WHO CAN DO THAT WHO WILL NOT BE NAMED (*coughWildbow*) but I don't think I can sustain that for any length of time.

I could parcel out each individual issue over the course of a month, but writing 8-10K words for a single issue is not the same as writing 2-2.5k words for four part of an issue over time. I can choose how I want to distribute those words. I have some 9K issues that have six parts, because some of the scenes are brief. I can organize how I like within that chunk of text because the chunk of text is intended to be read as a complete thing. That won't completely translate over to a weekly rolling release of an issue.

None of this is to say "nope, I'm not going to do that" but at this point I don't see it as a trivial conversion.

I know my limits, I can only do 3-5k words a week. Working in the gaming industry does not leave much time for writing ;-;... and if I was being honest, even if I did not have a job I would probably find other ways to avoid writing xD.
