   I think what struck me the most was how Godin's move has got everyone all worried. What a time to be a publisher!

   And when JA Konrath jumped ship, industry was saying, 'Big deal. Publishers have been dumping their midlisters since the 80's. Bah humbug.'

   But he is not doing so bad after the split.
