Mario Maker Contest?

3 years ago | TheAdamBo (Member)

I just decided to open up a contest on WattPad for my readers. I might open it up to other sites if I can find a good way to let people know about it. I made an insanely hard level on the Wii U game Mario Maker, and I told my followers that the first person to beat it wins a free book (that I wrote) of their choice. I think it's a cool idea, but I'm wondering if 1. this might get me sued by Nintendo, and 2. will my non Wii U owning followers get mad that they can't play? What do you think?

    I don't think they'll get mad.
To put it another way, if you put a contest on Facebook, and some readers don't have Facebook, that's just their choice to not to have Facebook, and I've never seen any reader get upset about it.
Will Nintendo sue you? No idea. Do your readers play Mario on the wii?

Lol, I'm sure at least a few of them do. I think it's a little different than having a Facebook, since a Facebook account is free, but a Wii U costs more than $300.
