Mayan Calander Girls
Specific stories with ad copy:
Sleeps with the Fishes
Oh Zama (about the restaurant called, funnily enough, Zama)
One by land, two by sea
It seems all the Isla Mujeres "fics" have the business links in the text.
I didn't bother to read on. Spam is spam.

I've had a look at the site. I expected it to be a horrid thing filled with links and bad advertising in every other sentence.
Only, it's not.
In fact, it's really nothing like what that review said it was. Okay, the writing wasn't earth-shattering, or even passable, but it certainly wasn't a thinly-veiled advertisement website.
Of the stories I looked at, only the three you mentioned had links. Three out of about 15. And those links appeared to be more for the reader's sake (to help elaborate on the setting, or explain something) than advertising. A lazier equivalent to having pages on the site to explain things.
If people are going to review a site/series, they should at least look at as much as possible. Not just a few pages and a couple of episodes. That would be like saying a book is rubbish because you read the first few pages, or even just picked a chapter at random! (and why I've not gotten around to reviewing anything personally - I've not had enough time to read anything enough to form a balanced opinion!)
And if they don't like it from a few pages, why bother reviewing it? You don't see decent film critics review a film based on the trailer or first five minutes... (though I'm aware there are plenty that do, sadly)
