Need to change info on my listing

1 year ago | tasakeru828 (Member)

I need to change several things on my listing.

I'd like to add to the existing tags, and display a feed for new entries. How would I go about doing this?

Just find your submission at http://webfictionguide.com/about/submissions/ and update the information, then resubmit it for approval. Make sure it says "awaiting editor approval" when you are done -- there have been reports of intermittent problems with the form not actually doing the submit (which I haven't yet been able to track down).

Hi, I submitted mine over a week ago and it still says "awaiting editor attention." I'm not anxious or impatient or anything; I just want to make sure that it worked and that it was received. Can anyone give me an update, please?

    Hi Bex,

We had a technical problem for a while, and I wasn't able to find time to solve it until Monday of this week. Unfortunately, a fairly large backlog of submissions has built up. We're working through them, and should get to yours in another few days. Sorry for the delay.

    Chris.

Just a quick question in a similar vein - I updated that 'Cold Ghost' was off hiatus two weeks ago now on the submission form, and I've updated the story feed twice now. But the main listing page for it still reads as 'no recent updates'.

Is it still only looking for updates on a Friday (since that used to be my designated day), or is just because of a backlog of stories?

I already have, I did that nearly two weeks ago now, and I've updated my website twice since then.

I want to change the summary on 10 - it's still waiting for editor attention. I change it, click submit, and the page reloads with the old summary.

Ah, okay, got the summary to change. But now it's stuck in draft status. Hmm.

Thank you very much Chris. Greatly appreciated.

MedleyMisty: I think there is a problem with caching. I think you are seeing the old version of the form. In any event, "10" is in the editor queue, so it should be fine.

Hi all -- it was a caching issue. Should have thought to check it months ago. It should be fixed now -- let me know if you notice any other weirdness about the status not showing up right. And sorry for the confusion.

    Chris.
