So, for round 2, as so much fun was had the first time around:

1st place: $500
2nd place: $350
3rd place: $150

Everyone at WFG is invited to participate - This time, one chapter on any of the following characters: Thomas, Alan, Jake, Pudge, Or Mike. The chapter should relate to the story but it can be based on the past or present.

It is very important that you have read the story all the way through as it stands, so your writing is in context. Rest of the rules apply as per the last contest. Please send your chapter as an attachment to chris.tejeda@advantageic.com - Do not place your name anywhere in the story, as the choice needs to be blind.

Entries are due by Friday, March 20th, 12 midnight PST.

    I plan on giving it a shot.
    You've got lots of cliffhangers set up. Do you already have plan on what's coming in the next few chapters, or do we have the freedom to just take a stab at it, and help form the plot?
    I'm a little worried I'm going to write something completely the opposite of what you had in mind.

    As far as what is happening next, yes, I do have the rest of the novel planned out. However, don't let that stop you from coming up with your story. I can't give anything away to help you, but, I would recommend understanding what is happening to Jake is related to the Paris chapters. Also understanding that there is obviously more than one species of alien, and that their motivation may not necessarily be the same.

    I am very exited to see what you guys come up with.
