PCS Podcast: Talking About Writing

1 year ago | Jim Zoetewey (Moderator)

I thought I'd pass on a couple links to episodes of the PCS podcast since three WFG people are on it and we're actually talking about monetizing writing in one way or another.

The most recent episode where we discuss publishing--hybrid, indie, and traditional. This is in large part because Cheyanne (the sole non-WFG member) got a traditional publishing deal for a superhero series in addition to her various indie projects.

Also, the previous episode where we talk about going full time as a writer, and what you have to think about before doing it. Plus, we interview Marion Harmon, a superhero writer who managed it.

I've really been enjoying this podcast. I think the one about web serials would be the most relevant to this forum though, right?

Every ep has some pretty good publishing wisdom. And it's also really funny to hear ubersoft being angry about like w/e he's angry about that month.

@Billy: I'm glad you're listening, and you're right that the web serial one is probably the most relevant. That's why I'm glad you mentioned it and not me. I mentioned it when it came out, so that would make me the guy who's promoting the same episode he promoted months ago. Whereas when you do it, that's Word of Mouth.

I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about. I consider myself the level-headed voice of reason of the group. :-)
