    @ Gloomy

Hmm. Problem with a lot of that is the lack of information. There's not a lot of info Chloe can work with. Hmm. Maybe I should make a bigger deal of her concern about her parents' pairbonds. I gave it a couple paragraphs, but I could probably make it clearer on edit.

More 'wait, we don't get a say in this at all' during the Greenwitch encounter could also help.

I'll have to go over the book again during my between-book breaks and add those in.

Actually, I was quite happy with the review. The questions directed at Gloomy were made with the intent to figure out the flaws so I could fix them. Getting high scores is nice and all, but what I want more than anything is to convey the experience properly to the reader. And that requires engaging readers in debate to figure out how to do things better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m9E9Ewhack- I think we could afford more people thinking this way.

But, yeah, this has gone into hijack mode. Sorry Gloomy- promise I'll get your review out this weekend, and then you can debate (not attack) me on what points you disagree with. In fact, I look forward to it.

@Tana: Granny would be an excellent way to handle things, I think. More in that scene and maybe some more in the original scene where the trio-bond takes place would help. Something about losing control, not just of their powers, but of their own autonomy maybe.

For God's sake, don't try to read that entire monstrosity in a weekend. Review it whenever, I'm in no rush.

    Edit: A word.

Yeah. Not gonna lie, Granny's one of my favorites. And I do promise Greenwitch will have a MUCH larger role in the sequel. In fact, she'll be one of the central characters (second only to the Trio themselves, actually).

Also, I'm a pretty fast reader, myself.

Okay, I'm closing this thread. Everyone back to their corners. @gloomybear86: if you still want to discuss your review or @TanaNari's story, feel free to start a new thread. I will do the same to discuss everything else I need to say about this thread.
