Review Request - Tasakeru
Hello all, newbie here!
All right, so I just finished posting the last chapter of the first installment of my animal fantasy-adventure-drama series, Tasakeru.
No, seriously! It's better than it sounds, honest! Don't run away! ;P
All joking aside, I would really appreciate any feedback that you experienced forum-goes could give. Now that the first book is posted, did you like it overall? Were you confused? What improvements need to be made?
Please, be descriptive. Any and all questions, comments, and constructive criticisms are welcome.

hahaha np :) Now as to the site itself, like the layout (simple, yet pretty) I LOVE the font @_@ very .... bookish? haha. I also really appreciate that you have a table of contents because this is one of the number one most annoying things about blog-novels in my mind, it's too difficult to catch up with old chapters. This solves that problem nicely.
I don't much like the side bar in general. I think as you update with more and more content this will be less of an issue but right now it seems to be just the same links over and over again :/
Overall I do really like the design though and think it's well balanced (I am however slightly concerned as a reader that each Book only has five chapters @_@)

Thanks for the comments, Isa! I'm glad you like the layout.
The books are designed to be short, btw, as I was planning to put three to a volume when and if I get a publisher.
Any thoughts on the story itself?

Well I'm not a fan of fantasy stories in general, which I suppose throws me into the minority with web fiction hehehe, but the writing seems strong ... descriptive, nice. There's the occasional trope (for example "I heard things from the other children, though… Strange things. Awful things.") that I feel like I've read a million times in other stories (including my own hahah) and I general don't like those unless they're used kind of ironically.
But you really should ask someone who appreciates the genre :D I'm kind of a bad person for that.

Well, thanks for putting up with it despite your disinterest, Isa. ;)
