Site Promotion Guide

Most sites on this guide get almost all their traffic from this website and most of us link back to it. That's great but it means the community as a whole is a little incestuous and doesn't grow much. We all benefit when the community as a whole grows and more readers are attracted. Anyone who really likes a web serial enough to read it all is probably going to visit web fiction guide and be exposed to other serials.

Thus I thought I would start a discussion on ways to get more views from sources outside the community, and not from this site. I know there are some older threads but none of them are quite this specific. Please just make sure you have obvious links back to web fiction guide. So I will start it off.

SEO - Search Engine Optimization: Getting people from search engines to reach your site. It takes a lot of time and not everyone agrees that this is that useful to web serials but I think with the right keywords it can be.

Places to post Promotions and Links:Not only do these take people directly to your site but they can boost SEO rankings. Don't forget to see if they allow signature links.
