Technical issue with rating at 2.5 stars

1 month ago | Shutsumon (Member)

I'm trying to rate one of the stories I've reviewed and it's a 2.5 star rating :-(

The problem is I've had to rate it at 3 (I'm not going to rate it lower than it deserves when I was a bit torn between 2.5 and 3 anyway) because when I hover the mouse over 2.5 stars the whole graphic starts shaking and it won't register that I'm clicking it. Every other rating is fine it's just 2.5.

This issue is in both firefox and IE, so I don't think it's a browser thing. Something to do with the way the graphic is displayed maybe?

Thanks,
Becky

    Hi Becky,

I get that effect in Firefox (but not Safari) *after* clicking the 2.5 stars, but it still registers the count. Can you try clicking it anyway, and see if it saves it?

    Thanks!

    Chris.

    Hi Chris,

The first several times I tried it nothing it happened.

I've tried again and it doesn't work in IE at all, but it did work in Firefox this time.

It's very distracting though. (Now to edit the review to remove the line explaining why its rated at 3).

    Thanks,
    Becky

I'll look into it when I get some time. Thanks for reporting it.
