Website needs bottom next/previous links

5 months ago | sunflowerofice (Member)

Alright, so I know how to create a link on my website (very new web novel. I haven't done a submission yet as I want to figure this out). The problem is my automatic next/previous is at the top of the page and i want to have them automatically created at the bottom if at all possible.

Does anyone else who uses wordpress know about how to do this? if so it would be a great help.

I also use wordpress and both of the themes I've had (previous and current) had them made automatically at the bottom. Try browsing through the website customizing options. If nothing is there to move the auto links to the top then it might just be a matter of theme choice.

I just started migrating my site to WordPress and it appears to be entirely dependent on the theme you choose. Also I've noticed some themes are set up so that the paging is completely restricted by category (which can be useful if you use categories to organize serials) and others are set up to ignore categories and go entirely by date.

there are definitely themes that control that, if not using one, or using a theme that doesn't have it, you can add the code for the navigation directly if you dig into the html aspect of it yourself. I used to do that LONG ago. been a really long time since i dived that deep though.

Hmmmm I will have to look into that. I appreciate the responses.

My current theme is twenty eleven as of now.

The easiest way is to just edit your post template, if you have access to it: just swap the order of the post content and navigation.
