I'm reading Jim Zoetewey's Legion of Nothing on a regular basis.

I just finished Empire of Law, which was good but needs the sequel soon!

I wish Queen of 7 would update more often, I love that story.

I keep getting behind on Intimate History and then catch up in big gulps.

    I miss the Mutants.

I read Tales of MU but with considerably less attention than I used to -- I don't get enough of the characters I like, such as Two and Dee, and the ongoing slow pace of the various plots makes it hard to have sustained interest. I was thrilled with the storyline where Two summoned a demon, Mack's Dad showed up, Mercy wanted to breed her -- and then the usual Steff, Amaranth, Ian soap opera bogged everything down. Now there's a murder mystery and that's slowed down by endless chapters of Mack worrying about being blamed, Amaranth trying to solve the legal issues, talking to the lawyer, lather rinse repeat. A single chapter displays AE's talent, but the over-all story just isn't thrilling to read anymore. I much prefer Star Harbour and Void Dogs, they stick to plots a little better -- but they haven't updated in forever.

I just finished Wicked, Flower Children, Tunnel in the Sky and the Sign of the Book for paper books, so yeah I read a lot.

Since I've set myself a challenge to read 100 books this year, I'm constantly reading loads!

Actually re: how reading can improve your writing, I wrote a little blog post about it a while back which may be of interest to you.

    Currently reading?

Offline: Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood
Non-fiction: The 7 Basic Plots (tough going....)

Online: The Antithesis by TL Whiteman is AWESOME. Amazing writing and world-building. I've fallen behind on all the other serials I really enjoy, but longstanding faves are Strange Little Band, Addergoole, The Peacock King... and others.

Qazyfiction: fantasy fiction with a sinister edge.
