The New Humans's Allison vs Touch's James.

Wholly depends on whether Alli's power works on James's. She copies powers, so if it does work it's a stalemate probably, while if it doesn't, then it's a free on James's part.

Though there's also the not-quite-main characters.

David vs. Casper is a another easy one. David has absolute control of water, and Casper can sense emotions. Since David probably counts as human, Casper might be able to talk him down. But that's the only if. If he can't David wins instantly cuz people are made of water.

Mabel vs. Tasha is a tricky one. Mabel can turn animate art (not photographs) into real things, and Tasha is just has physical powerups (thought IIRC she's just now learning magic). If Mabel can animate the right thing, that might be the fight, but if Tasha gets close, it's over. I'm leaning toward Tasha, just because she's older and more experienced.

I write Endless Stars! It's a serial about dragons and friendship.

Well, I'm pretty sure Allison can't copy DRAGON, so Kinri kinda wins by default there. Not 100% sure that Dragons in ES aren't Silicon based, either. They seem completely comfortable with eating glass, so there's possibilities that David's power wouldn't work on her. However, he can still control regular water, and use it to both regenerate and give himself superstrength. So David kinda has every possible advantage over Hinte unless she got the drop with a sleeping agent or a fast kill.

You know, I actually couldn't decide what my second favorite was, but I'm pretty sure with most of the MC's of the serials I've read, Fourth Fist (from Fifth Defiance) wrecks train on them. Fourth Fist has that just-right combination of very strong offense, ludicrous defense, and decent-enough team tactics coordination that I just don't see most MC squads I've read winning out against them in a straight, no-holds barred fight; under more strategic conditions, Fourth Fist would have a harder time and lose a few members, but the team was definitely built to last.
