This is the second time I've tried to post this -- the first time the post disappeared completely -- and I'm paranoid as soon as I do, both will show up, which will prove once and for all that I am too [email protected]#$% old for the Internet.
Anyway, I'm currently writing Issue 36 of Curveball, which will end the Year Three arc and begin the final (hopefully shorter) arc that wraps up the serial completely. I've never done a review swap before, because back when I first started lurking here that kind of thing was EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN and it's taken me this long to get past it. Heh.
Anyway, if you're interested in how I review things, you can see my older reviews on my shelf:
I'm honest about what I like and what I don't like, but I am deliberately not brutal about it. That's a personal philosophy that not everyone shares, and I don't expect you to adopt it. If after reading Curveball you feel the need to tear it to pieces and pour battery acid on its pulpy remains, well, I know what I was signing up for, fair's fair, the only reason you won't be on my Christmas List is because you weren't on it before.
I won't do review swaps for stories I've already reviewed (sorry Jim, I think that's just you) but other than that I'll review anything. Which may lead to some awkward moments, especially if I get thrown into genres I simply do not understand, but you can PROBABLY work that to your advantage ("GUARANTEED TO HOPELESSLY CONFUSE OLD PEOPLE, MY STREET CRED REMAINS UNBLEMISHED")
Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone willing to play.
